I root my opinion pieces in personal lived experiences to highlight the human side of complex issues. The intimate feel of these stories, combined with philosophical reflection, encourages readers to make connections between themselves and others. 

My goal as editor is to help others tell their best stories possible. Whatever the message and whoever the audience, I work with storytellers to craft engaging personal narratives that showcase their unique voice and perspective. 

Academic writing provides a wealth of information, but let’s be real – it is often boring. I use stories to animate my research so that readers not only retain more information, but also better understand how theoretical concepts are relevant to everyday life.
